Hi, I’m Lisa, the photographer behind Lisa Williamson Photography.
Alongside photography, I’m a qualified Early Years Practitioner and a mum to two children, now young adults, which has shaped the calm, understanding way I work with children and young people.
I’m a keen artist with a love for creativity and culture, and I enjoy theatre, concerts, and spending time with friends and family. My passion for people and storytelling strongly influences my photography style — focusing on genuine expressions, natural interactions, and the everyday moments that make each school unique.
I feel privileged to work in schools and to help showcase what makes them special.

Known for being professional, approachable and reliable, I make photo sessions straightforward and enjoyable for both staff and students. I know how important it is that every image reflects your school’s values, vision and achievements.
As well as being a professional photographer, I’m a qualified Early Years Practitioner with many years of experience working with children — including those with additional needs. This background helps me create a calm, friendly environment where pupils feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

How It Works
Working closely with each school or nursery, I plan and produce modern, consistent images covering curriculum and extra-curricular activities, staff leadership portraits, uniforms, buildings and facilities.
On the day, I then;
– Photograph a mixture of naturally posed and documentary-styleimages that reflects your school’s values
– Photograph as many subjects as possible indoors and outdoors classes. This usually includes Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Arts, Computing and Sports. We can photograph in lesson time, so there is little disruption to learning. I can work with you ahead of the shoot to advise on what type of school activities photograph well.
– I aim to photograph the children working with the teaching staffand when they are engaged in an activity and having fun.
Together we’ll build a portfolio that represents your community and inspires parents, carers and prospective families.
